Abstract

Section 74 of the 1980 Vienna Convention on contract for the international sale of goods (CISG) contains a foreseeability rule which appears very interesting for Brazil, where the Convention recently entered into force. Furthermore, about this article have been developed, at the international level, some positions which could provide useful interpretative suggestions even outside the CISG’s sphere of application.
